Kivunim

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the founder of the Kivunim Institute to update the brand identity and website for its incredible Gap Year Program, an immersive experience of focused international travel, serious academic study and cross-cultural dialogue. Kivunim aims to develop global citizens who are conscientious, capable, and committed to building a more just and peaceful world. As such, it was important for us to understand the values of prospective Kivu students, and articulate the unique aspects of the program, which is based in Jerusalem and cultivates a lifelong relationship with Israel, explores the Jewish diaspora in up to 12 countries, includes weekly volunteering and helps students make meaningful connections with other countries & cultures.

OBJECTIVE

Our objective was to modernize the look and feel of this 18-year old program, so we did a deep dive into its history and curriculum. We studied its materials and mission, and we spent many hours in conversation with the founder. We crafted compelling new messaging to engage high school students & their parents, as well as interested educators and donors; and we selected a series of stunning photographs taken by the students themselves to reflect the uniqueness of the program, and authentically resonate with the target audience.
