The Modigliani Initiative
The Modigliani Initiative’s founders approached us to create a brand identity and website for the launch their non-profit organization, an independent resource for all research and data related to the life & work of renowned artist, Amodeo Modigliani.
We conducted interviews with the organization’s founders, both of whom are highly credentialed art scholars and researchers. We developed a Brand DNA that articulated the organization’s mission, values, strategy and vision for the future; and positioned TMI as a collaborative platform for examining and documenting the life of the artist, his work and artistic milieu. The logo mark was a nod to the artist’s unique signature, coupled with his style of portraying eyes on his models. We designed the website to serve as a centralized and publicly accessible resource, reflecting TMI’s mission: to lead and engage the arts community in the exploration and dissemination of all knowledge related to Modigliani. Our scope also included business cards and a digital newsletter template.
